Wlliam migrated to Australia when he was just 14.
He was 17 years 1 month old at time of death.
His family epitaph reads;
YOU LEAVE BEHIND YOU DEAR WILLIE,
SAD ACHING HEARTS,
WHO LOVED OH SO DEAR,
HEARTS THAT NEVER CAN FORGET,
YOUR MEMORY WRITTEN HERE.
