Son of James and Susan LEYLAND, Barcaldine, Queensland
Our Rockhampton correspondent wires that Mr. and Mrs. J. Leyland, of Barcaldine, have been officially advised that their son, Louis, who was a bombardier, was killed in action in France. Louis was the youngest son. Two other sons, Arthur and Victor, are at the front. Arthur was reported wounded last year. Victor is in a Lewis machine gun section. Louis Leyland was only 22 years of age, and had been in France only a short time.
