Biography

No.1516 Driver John George Wilson. Born in Portland, Victoria, he was living in Mount Gambier when he enlisted, attached to the 4th Australian Division Ammunition Column, he was awarded the Military Medal for bravery in the field on 14 May 1918. Wilson returned to Australia in 1919.
