Arthur McBain PEARSALL was born in New Zealand in 1888

His parents were John PEARSALL & Caroline YOUNG who married in Hobart, Tasmania on 24th July, 1884

He enlisted in Claremont, Tasmania on 2nd October, 1916 and embarked from Melbourne with the 12th Infantry Battalion, 22nd reinforcements on the HMAT Ulysses on 25th October, 1916

Arthur was Killed in Action in Belgium on 30th September, 1917 and is buried in The Huts Cemetery in Belgium
