Father William George Stuart-Russell and Mother Elizabeth Mary Agnes Stuart-Russell,
they lived at Eumundi, North Coast Line, Queensland.

Until nearly 14 years of age Aubrey lived on Yelvertoft, his Father's cattle station in the Camooweal district where he learned to love bush life. He was an only son.

19/07/1918  'The Chronicle' newspaper:
"Eumundi ROLL OF HONOUR. Word has been received that Lance Corporal Aubrey Stuart-Russell died of wounds, received in France, on the 4th inst. It will be remembered that this gallant young soldier was severely gassed about twelve months ago. After regaining fitness, he was again sent back to the lines where he eventually met his death."
