Biography contributed by Carol Foster

Son of Robert Graham of 8 Clive Road, Hawthorn, Victoria

Private Robert Wiliam Graham, killed in action at the Dardanelles, was the third son of ex-police inspector Graham, who was stationed at Bairnsdale some years ago. His brother, Norman is one of those Australians still engaged in driving the Turks off the Galipolli Peninsula. The late Private 'Bob" Graham attended the Bairnsdale state school, and a number of the soldiers who volunteered from Bairnsdale were school mates in the sixth class when that section was in charge of Mr W. Williams, now of Bacchus Marsh.
