In Memory Of Lance Corporal Herbert Hurtle Morphett, 51st Battalion.

He was a farmer from Bruce Rock, Western Australia, and enlisted in the AIF on the 23rd of June 1915, serving in Gallipoli, Egypt and France.

Lance Corporal Morphett was killed in action at Villers-Bretonneux on ANZAC Day, the 25th of April, 1918, aged 21.

The "A" badge, signifying service on Gallipoli, worn on his 51st Battalion shoulder patch.
