Frank Rowe was the son of James Henry and Lavinia Rowe, and a native of of Burton-on-Trent, England. He had come out to Western Australia during 1913. His parents were both deceased when he died and he had a brother, James Henry Rowe, living in Boulder, Western Australia, who received his medals and an identity disc which were recovered from Frank Rowe’s remains when his body was discovered by the Imperial War Graves Commission during 1919.
