CLARK.—Killed in action, on 8th August, somewhere in France, Private Richard George Clark, brother of Pte. William Munro Clark (killed in action 3rd April, Sgt.  Charles Clark  (returned Anzac.), uncle of Gunner. J.C.W. Clark, on active service.
A soldier, yes, a hero too,
He played a man's part, through and
through.
His actions speak, though his voice is
still.
Forget him, no, we never will.

CLARK.—August 8, 1918, officially reported killed in action, somewhere in France, No. 5360. Private Richard George Clark, 59th Battalion, dearly loved husband of Lucy, loving  daddy of Amy, second eldest son of Mrs. and the late Charles Clark, of Mailer's Flat, brother of Charles (returned), Billie (killed, April 3, 1918), and Jack, aged 35 years.
To have, to love, and then to part,
Is the saddest story of a human heart.
