Hugh Maxwell DOUGLAS was born on 21st May, 1881 in Toowong, Queensland
His parents were John DOUGLAS and Sarah HICKEY
he married Hannah Elizabeth THORNTON on 21st December, 1904 & had four known children - Edward Octavius, James, Henry Alexander & Margaret
His son Edwad Octavius served in WW2 in the Army ( SN19589, Q905 & QX47574) & another son Henry Alexander also served in WW2 in the Army (SN QX19958)
