Address at the time of enlistment was given as Artillery Barracks, Fremantle, WA.

Husband of Ellen O'Donnell nee Price of Hermitage Street, Sheffield England formerly of Queen Victoria Street, Fremantle, WA. Michael and Ellen married in the Registry Office, Fremantle, WA during 2 June 1915. District Registrar H.W. Fordham officiated.

Commenced return to Australia on 7 November 1919 aboard HT Marathon disembarking on 19 December 1919.
