Archie Ernest Allchin was 33, 5 foot 10 male who was describe as having a slightly dark complexion. He was born in Mount Gambier on the 26 of November 1880 and worked as a Clerk before enlisting on the 18 of December 1914. His mother, M Allchin Mary was his nominated next of kin.

On the 13th of July 1916 he embarked for overseas, returning to Australia on 15th May 1919 and was discharged on the 28th of May 1919 in Adelaide . Totaling 4 years and 195 days of service and 2 years and 306 days of that spend abroad.

He also served in the Second World War as a Sergeant.

Allchin died on the 9th of October 1962, Plympton, North, SA and was buried at West Terrace Cemetery (AIF Section), Australia, Kendrew Oval 3A 58.
