Son of William Owen Ussher and Edith Mary Ussher nee King of 'Pinner', Malmsbury Street, Kew, Victoria.

Commenced return to Australia on 28 March 1919 aboard HT Karoa disembarking on 8 May 1919.

Medals: British War Medal, Victory Medal

Post war he worked in Gladdfield near Warwick, QLD during which time he married Ellen Bowman Clark on 18 July 1924
