"THE LATE PRIVATE J. S. BOWDEN.

Mrs. J. Bowden, of Gawler, late of Stirling East, has received news that her son, Private John Stirling Bowden, was killed in action at Gallipoli between April 25 and April 29, 1915. He had been reported missing since three days after the landing. He left for the front with the First Contingent.
