5 Mar 1918: | Honoured Meritorious Service Medal (MSM), This Warrant Officer has been B.S.M. for the 108th Battery since its formation. He has been an exceptionally able and devoted soldier, and his service in the making of a new battery into a successful fighting unit, have been of the greatest value. He has been frequently brought to notice for his excellent administrative work, and has shown great coolness and determination on several occasions when the Wagon Lines have been shelled, and in bringing up ammunition under fire, particularly at Messines, Nieuport, and recently at Ypres.
