Harrie Osborne QUINCE was born on 11th November, 1886 in Booligal, New South Wales

His parents were Edward QUINCE & Annie Elizabeth DORAN

He married Caroline Mary BYRNE on 26th December, 1911 in St Vincents Roman Catholic Church at Portland, NSW  - two known children, Osborne Richard b. 1914 & Mary E b. 1916

He enlisted in Lithgow on 31st August, 1915 & embarked from Sydney on 20th February 1916 on the HMAT Ulysses with the Mining Corp reinforcement 1

Harrie fell ill with influenza and subsequently died from pneumonia in the 12th Stationary Hospital in Rouen, France and is buried in St Pol British Cemetery

His name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial
