    Thorold FINK was born in Melbourne in Victoria on 28th November, 1896

    His parents were Theodore FINK & Kate Elizabeth ISAACS

    He married Louisa Jean GILCHRIST in Russley Lodge in Toorak on 11th February, 1926

    His brother Gordon FINK (SN 674) was Killed in Action in 1915 (16th Infantry Battalion

    Served in WW1 as a Gunner, post-war he finished his LLB and worked as a lawyer before taking on a role as Director of the Herald and Weekly Times (Melbourne) newspaper
