John O'Connor and of Ellen Theresa O'Connor nee O'Mahony of Church Street, South Richmond, Victoria.
Brother of Gerald Augustine O'Connor who was killed in action on 19 July 1916 while serving with the 60th Battalion and has no known grave. His name appears on V.C. Corner Cemetery and Memorial, Panel 21.
