Marched in to Base Details, Tel el Kebir, Egypt, 5 May 1916.

Proceeded from Alexandria to join the British Expeditionary Force, 2 August 1916; marched in to Details Camp, Parkhouse, England, 13 September 1916; proceeded overseas to France, 6 April 1917; marched in to Australian General Base Depot, Etaples, France, 7 April 1917; marched out to unit, 17 May 1917; taken on strength of 2nd Division Army Medical Corps and attached for duty with 7th Field Ambulance, 24 May 1917; on leave to Paris, 6 January, 1918; rejoined unit from leave, 16 January 1918; on leave to United Kingdom, 17 August 1918; rejoined unit from leave, 6 September 1918.

Admitted to Parkhouse Hospital, England, 18 September 1918 - discharged from hospital, 18 October 1918.

With unit, 1 February 1919; attached for duty with 5th Field Ambulance, 14 March 1919; transferred to 5th, 6th and 7th Field Ambulances, 24 March 1919; marched out for return to Australia, 30 March 1919; marched out to England, 11 April 1919; marched in to No 2 Group, Sutton Veny, England, 12 April 1919.

Marched in to Australian Army Medical Corps Training Depot, Fovant, 15 May 1919.

Commenced return to Australia on board HT 'Port Darwin', 12 June 1919; disembarked Melbourne, 27 July 1919; discharged, 12 September 1919.
