Biography

As well as serving with the 46th Battalion, he also served with the 59th (I think the 5th division) and was discharged in 1919.

He again enlisted (changing his DOB) in 1940. Service No. VX24939 on the 2/9 Field Ambulance, and held the rank of Corporal. He was discharged on 14 Sep 1943.

His son Frank (my older brother) also enlisted, I believe in RAAF and served overseas. - Peter Shaw
