Reginald ACRES was born in Launceston, Tasmania on 17th July, 1884
His parents were Adam Smith ACRES & Ada Bertha HILLS
He enlisted in Wickepin, Western Australia on 17th March, 1916 and embarked from Fremantle, WA with the 16th Infantry Battalion, 20th Reinforcements on 13th October, 1916 on the HMAT Suffolk
Reginald was Killed in Action at Guedecourt in France on 5th February, 1917 and is buried in the Bancourt British Cemetery
