Son of John and Caroline Saunders of Upper Liffey, Tasmania
Mr. and Mrs. Saunders, of Liffey, have been officially notified that their son, Private Colin Saunders, was reported missing at the Dardanelles. He was one was one of the first in North Queensland to enlist in the Ninth Battalion, first expeditionary force. One brother, Sergeant L. J. (Jim) Saunders, is serving with the Ninth Battalion.
