He was the third son of Robert and Ada Jackson of 18 Palmerston Rd., Westcliff-on-Sea.He is remembered on the wargrave of his elder  brother, Driver Stanley Walker Jackson, Service Number 457, who died in Norfolk whilst serving with the Honourable Artillery Company.
