Son of Patrick William Quinn and Helena Quinn nee Fahey of 'Millbrook', Wilson Street, Kalgoorlie, WA. 

Brother of Michael Andrew Quinn who returned to Australia on 24 February 1919 having served with the 12th Brigade Headquarters.

Husband of Virginie Quinn nee Joulia of Ismalia Egypt. Patrick and Virginie were married in the Roman Catholic Church, Ismalia, Egypt on 1 August 1918
