From Peter Jensen
Today, 105 years ago, my wife's great uncle, Pte William Bucci, was killed in action in fighting near Pozieres. He was 19 years old. He has never been recovered but as so many of his mates, is remembered at Villiers Bretenoux. William served with 11th Battalion AIF and was a reinforcement after the Gallipoli campaign.
