World War 2 Service

13 Sep 1941: Enlisted Royal Australian Air Force, Flight Lieutenant, No. 11 Squadron (RAAF)
21 Jun 1943: Involvement Royal Australian Air Force, Pilot Officer, 413833, No. 35 Squadron (RAF - No. 8 Group PFF), Halifax HR985 was shot down over France on 11 November 1942. Ronald Daniel was the only survivor. He evaded capture with the help of the French and arrived back in England on 24 March 1944.
