"LATE MR. M. R. FAIRWEATHER.
The death took place at Burwood on Tuesday last of Mr. Malcolm Robert Fairweather, at the age of 52. Deceased was the fourth son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Fairweather, formerly of Baerami, and now residing in Sydney. He was born at Baerami, and served in World War I as a gunner. Deceased had been employed in the N.S.W. Tramway Department for the past 25 years. He leaves a widow and five children. Mr. E. Fairweather of Sydney Street, is a brother." - from the Muswellbrook Chronicle 10 Oct 1947 (nla.gov.au)
