SHIRLAW.— In sad and loving memory of our dear son and brother, Private Hugh William Shirlaw, who died in England on the 9th December, 1918. Also our dear husband and father, David Shirlaw, who died on the 3rd December 1903.
Precious darlings they Have left us,
Left us, yes, for ever more,
But we hope to meet our loved ones
On that bright and happy shore.
Inserted by their sorrowing mother,
wife, brothers and sisters.
