HIS SERVANTS SHALL DO HIM SERVICE AND THEY SHALL SEE HIS FACE

LCE-CORPORAL Eric G. Leaks was the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. F. Leask, of Mosman and was killed in action in France some time in August last. He was born in South Australia March 19th 1892, and so was only 24 at the time of his death. His career at Fort Street, lasting over four years, was such as to endear him to his masters and fellow students. No one took a keener interest in the School affairs while he will be long remembered for his skill as a debater and as a contributor to "De Senioribus.” the senior MS. Journal. He matriculated in 1910 and proceeded to the University where he obtained his B.A. with honours in 1913. He had iust completed his theological studies at Camden Congregational College, under the Rev. Principal Thatcher, when in November. 1915. he enlisted in the A.1.F. It was only a few weeks before his departure that he was present at the School, and gave an address to our branch of the Christian Union. His younger brother Tim, is also on active service.
