Pte Alick McQuie joined the 7th Battalion on Gallipoli on 5 August 1915.
He was killed in action (orig reported wounded & missing) just three days later on 8 August 1915.
Evidence provided to a later enquiry reported he was killed by a Turkish bomb during the attack at Lone Pine on the 8th.
