Son of Mrs Kate Blannin Ferguson of 'Major's Hill' Mt Martha, Victoria. Brother of Daryl Gardner Blannin Ferguson who was killed in action of 8 May 1915 at Cape Helles while serving with the 7th Battalion and Ackland Roy Blannin Ferguson who commenced to return to Australia on 26 August 1921 aboard HT Euripidies having served with the 4th Battalion
