Many thanks for all of your information about my post concerning a C BONE, the 6th name inscribed on the Minmi Roll of Honour as Fallen (see photo).
I have now found evidence (see attached) that this is indeed Private Cecil Bone, 15th Australian Field Ambulance, Australian Army Medical Corps, Reg No-110, who died of illness on the 25th April 1918 (cerebrospinal meningitis), age 24 years 11 months.
Born at Lambton, New South Wales on the 31st May 1893 as BOND.
Son of Thomas (died 1940) and Margaret Bone (died 8.7.1951, 88 Bull Street, Cooks Hill, N.S.W., age 83, ashes interred Newcastle Memorial Park, N.S.W.), from 112 Hopkins Street, Boulder City, Western Australia and 110 Bull Street, Cooks Hill, N.S.W.
