I ONCE WAS LOST BUT NOW AM FOUND
Still another gap in the ranks of our Foster lads and another grave in a foreign land, for the sad news arrived on Thursday that Private Alex Williamson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lou Williamson, of Foster had been killed in action in France. "Alex", who had grown from boyhood to manhood in our midst, was well liked by all who knew him. He was about 25 years of age when his young life ended, having been for over two years on active service. The flag at the school was flown at half mast on Friday, the young soldier having been a scholar, and on all sides heartfelt sympathy was expressed for his bereaved parents in their great sorrow.
