21 Jan 1916: Enlisted AIF WW1, Private, S302, 27th Infantry Battalion, Place of enlistment - Adelaide, South Australia
1 Apr 1916: Transferred AIF WW1, Private, Mining Corps
10 Jun 1916: Promoted AIF WW1, Sapper, Mining Corps, Rank changed to Sapper and Service number changed to 3563.
16 Aug 1916: Involvement AIF WW1, Sapper, 3563, Mining Corps, Embarked on RMS Orontes from Melbourne on 16th August 1916, disembarking Plymouth, England on 2nd October 1916. Troops then entrained to No. 3 Camp Parkhouse on the Salisbury Plains on 8th October 1916.
1 Jan 1917: Embarked AIF WW1, Sapper, 3563, 1st Tunnelling Company (inc. 4th Tunnelling Company), Proceeded ot France on SS Arundel from Folkstone, England as a member of Australian Tunnelling Company Details and was earmarked as a reinforcement for 1st Australian Tunnelling Company. However Sapper Fulcher reported sick on 3rd January 1917 and was admitted to the 51st General Hospital in Etaples where he was hospitalised until 12th January then returned to the AGBD on 26 January 1917.
26 Jan 1917: Transferred AIF WW1, Sapper, 3rd Tunnelling Company (inc. 6th Tunnelling Company), Service Number changed to 3563A.

Husband of Rose Ellen FULCHER (nee MAY), of Ship Street, Port Adelaide South Australia.  Rose in her 35th year died on 19th May 1925 at the Adelaide Hospital of pneumonia, see http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article46209779 and http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article89647469
