Biography contributed by Ellice Schrader

Youngest child of 9 to George Rochster Richardson and Ellen Elizabeth Lance. After returning he went onto to be an electrician for Sydney County Council until he retired.

He married Valerie Morrison and had 2 children- William Edward & Valerie Denise, known as Denise, named after a family member, where he had been billeted in France.

Known to be a lovely temperament with strong family ties. Loved cars and had them all his life, starting from the 1920's. Belonged to Belmore RSL and Lodge Escalaba. Kept in contact with his army mates. His grandson is named after one of them.

His aunt gave him a 1915 gold soverign to put in his pocket for luck and many years later it was made into a brooch for his wife. it is still in family possession, with his great grandson hanging it with his dog tags when serving in Afghanistan.
