Joined to Fight

Young and fearless he joined to fight in WW1 as did many young men at that time. He died of wounds sustained in Ypres. Leaving behind his Father Edgar Ernest Forrest and Mother Nellie Young along with a number of his siblings. His personal effects were sent to his Mother following his death and she clung to those the remainder of her life. Sadly missed but never forgotten. Percy's name lies on the Honour Roll at the Australian War Memorial. Lest we forget.
