DIED OF WOUNDS.
Mrs. H. V. Gould, of Woodlands-street, Manly, has received news of the death from wounds on May 8, in France, of her husband, Major H. V. Gould. Major Gould left Australia as 2nd lieutenant in February, 1915, and served through the Gallipoli campaign up to the evacuation. He was employed in the Sydney Harbour Trust. His only brother, Captain C. H. Gould, is still on active service in France. They were well known on the Swan River, Western Australia.
