When enlisting for WW1 he gave his age as 28 years but when he enlisted for WW2 he gave his age as 43 years and his date of birth as 1898 which suggests he lowered his age by about 10 years
Husband of Mabel Adams nee Lymbery of 3 Adolphus Lane, Balmain, NSW. william and Mabel married during 1912 in the Petersahm area, NSW. When he enlisted for WW2 he was residing in Bass Avenue, East Hills, NSW
