Hercules VALMADRE was born in 1886 in St Arnaud, Victoria

His parents were Hercules VALMADRE and Mary Ann EVANS who married in Victoria in 1885 - his father was born in Italy & his mother was born in Victoria

He was Killed in Action on 29th September, 1917 & buried in Menin Road Military Cemetery - Plot II, Row 1, Grave 11

His name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial & the St Arnaud Borough Town Hall Honour Roll in Victoria
