Son of John Vaillant and Marie Vaillant nee Mann of Flushing, Falmouth, Cornwall, England.
Husband of C.M. Vaillant of Oxford Road, Reading, England.
Commenced return to Australia on 19 April 1919 aboard HT Sardinia disembarking on 28 May 1919. He later returned to England during the early 1920's.
