19 Jan 1918: Transferred AIF WW1, Gunner, Reception / Reinforcements / Personnel Depots, On the 19th January 1918 he was Transferred from Hospital to the Australian General Base Depot A.G.B.D. AIF.
5 Feb 1918: Transferred AIF WW1, Gunner, 1st Field Artillery Brigade, On the 5th February 1918 he Rejoined his Unit 1.F.A.B. AIF.
14 Sep 1918: Wounded AIF WW1, Gunner, 26636, 2nd Field Artillery Brigade , Breaching the Hindenburg Line - Cambrai / St Quentin Canal, On the 14th September 1918 he received a Serious Gun Shot Wound (GSW) to his Left Knee. Bullet cut the Patella Ligament, separated Tuberosity of the Tibia, loss of Tissue and division of Quadriceps Tendon. This injury would lead to his Medical Discharge.
18 Jan 1919: Embarked AIF WW1, Gunner, 26636, 2nd Field Artillery Brigade , On the 18th January 1919 he Embarked from England aboard the Vessel "H.T. Margha" bound for Australia.
5 Mar 1919: Embarked AIF WW1, Gunner, 26636, 2nd Field Artillery Brigade , On the 5th March 1919 he Disembarked the Vessel "H.T. Margha" at Melbourne Victoria.
