Son of Arthur Thomas Keays and Agnes Ann (nee Leslie) Keays of Sea View Road, Grange; brother of Henry Gordon Edward Keays, Ethel May Keays and George Herbert Keays
Advice has been received that Private Alfred C. Keays was killed in action in France on August 14. He was 31 years of age, and was the second son of the late Mr. T. A Keays, of Magill, and Mrs. A. Keays, of Henley Beach. At the time of enlisting he was employed at the Petersburg Loco Department, where he had been for a number of years. He left Australia on December 2, 1915.
