"B.A., LL.B. : Corporal, 3rd Battn., A.I.F., England. Enlisting 25th October, 1917, and sailing 17th July, 1918, arrived in England 24th September, but was not sent to France on account of Armistice. Joining A.I.F. Education Service 1st December, remained with it till demobilisation in England, returning privately via America. Early education at Sydney Church of England Grammar School.
