"...4913 Private Stanley Ted Read, 15th Reinforcements, 14th Battalion, of Macarthur, Vic,... enlisted on 26 October 1915 and embarked aboard HMAT Anchises in Melbourne on 14 March 1916. In July 1916 he was transferred from the 14th Bn to the 46th Bn. Pte Read was killed in action in France on 13 August 1916 aged 18 years..." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
