Evacuated to 1st ACCS where he died of his wounds later the same day.

Son of Benjamin and Matilda Aarons of 59 Cowper Street, Footscray, Vic; brother of Gabriel Aarons who returned to Australia on 17 October 1916 having served with the 13th Light Horse Regiment
