Uncle Harry
Harry was my great-great uncle (brother of my great-grandmother). My late mother talked about uncle Harry a lot when I was a boy. All I know was that he was Killed in action at Lone Pine on 8 Aug 1915.
In 2013 I went to Gallipoli and visited the memorial wall which was moving. Other than his service records and some family stories I know very little about him.
I think about him a lot. - Peter Hession (Guildford)
