Taken on Strength, to 12th Army Bde, Australian Field Artillery on 12 October 1918. Transferred to A.A.O.C., France, on 9 February 1919, and Taken on Strength the same day. He was still with A.A.O.C. on 7 June 1919. He was marched out to England via Calais, France, on 30 June 1919. On furlough between 21 July and 5 August 1919, reporting to Sutton Veny, Wiltshire, England, before his return to Australia.
Fate: Returned to Australia per HMAT A14 Euripides, 6 September 1919, disembarking 20 October 1919. He married Nancy Deeble, 14 September 1938, St Clements Church of England, Elsternwick, Vic.
