Gordon Wallace Markham MILLS was born in 1887 in Burwood, Sydney, NSW
His parents were Herbert Markham MILLS and Mary HARRIS who married in St Lukes Church in Burwood, NSW on 3rd February, 1886
Two of his brothers also served in WW1
1. Frederick Charles Markham MILLS (SN1532) who died from Influenza in France on 18th December, 1918
2. Standish Wentworth Markham MILLS (SN27243) who returned to Australia and died in 1971
