Samuel Augustus PETHEBRIDGE was born on 3rd August, 1862 in Spring Hill, Brisbane

His parents were Henry Lander PETHEBRIDGE & Elizabeth Mary SYMONS

He married Mary Ada SIMMONDS on 25th August, 1887 in Brisbane

Samuel died from the effects of Malaria in Melbourne on 25th January, 1918 and is buried in the Box Hill Cemetery

He was awarded the Knight Commander of St Michael & St George on 25th July, 1917
