Son of Denis O'Shea and Minnie O'Shea nee Hanlon of Harcourt Street, New Farm, QLD.

Brother of Charles O'Shea who returned to Australia on 22 May 1919 having served with the 36th Heavy Artillery Group.

Commenced return to Australia on 22 November  1919 aboard HT Aeneas disembarking on 12 January 1920 at Sydney for onward travel to Brisbane

During 1926c Timothy married Hilda Gertrude Brewer in QLD
